Delivery driver (courier)

Deliver food orders from local restaurants to customers in Deep River. You choose the shifts you want, and orders come to you in the Valley Eats courier app.

How you're paid:

• $4.00 base pay per order, plus distance
• Up to $0.50 bonus per delivery when you arrive on time
• 100% of your tips
• At least Ontario's minimum wage ($17.95/hr) for your active delivery time, topped up automatically each pay period

What you need:

• A valid driver's licence and proof of car insurance
• A reliable vehicle
• A smartphone for the courier app, with location on during shifts
• An insulated delivery bag from Valley Eats ($45, taken from your first payout)

How it works:

• You're an independent contractor, not an employee: you set your availability and look after your own taxes
• After you apply: document review, a short interview and a background check
• New couriers have a 90-day probation

When you apply, choose Deep River as your delivery city.
